    UPDATE:

Just received responses to my email from the manufacturer.

They confirmed that just the 1 bag of bolts labelled for the LEFT Side Step (pictured above) is actually all it for both sides. In other words, my mistake and there was actually no missing parts.

In terms of missing instructions, due to the nature of the product (replicas) they did deliberately remove it from the packaging as it has the printed logos.

But have instead been given a scanned copy of those instructions via email.

    So all good now!

Now I just wished VW would deliver my Tiguan to me sooner, in order to install these!

Also I think that you will need tool for these nut rivets as I see from one of the picture above, unless they supply something to install it (nut rivet) with.
    Thanks for the heads up!

But according to the instructions, NO ... these are all the tools that's required!

Anyhow, I'll cross that bridge when I get there!

The bronze color cylindrical looking item in the plastic bag with nuts and washers in the picture, looks like nut rivet.

    Yep ... you're right!

Quite frankly, I've never worked with these before and there's definitely nothing supplied other than an allen key in the plastic bag!

But should I be very worried?

UPDATE: Actually my bad! Item 17 is the tool supplied to aid with the installation of the rivet nuts.
Should've actually gone through the instructions carefully first, before posting.
Now I look like Item 24 (an additional tool)

No need to be worried, anybody who have ever played with LEGO, MECCANO etc. should be able to install them - following the installation instructions in the link I posted above. (By following these instructions you will find out that instead of riveted nuts they use the sq. sliding nuts.)

Yep ... the sq. sliding nuts are stronger and better right?

Might explain why these steps have an extra middle bracket?

Not much, cause aussietig was told he would have to order 100+ for the price to drop just a little bit. It's not worth it. Also it would be a good idea to see the steps fitted to the car.

I'm not sure but I think he mentioned he could sell his just to see how they fit and get steps for his Tig when it arrives with the next order. Worthwhile to ask him if (anybody) you're serious.

I can make the sq. sliding nuts (replacement for the rivet nuts) and post to anyone who would want.

$118 for a 100+ order or $133 USD for one.

Yes ... I would be interested in seeing the steps installed on someone else's Tig, whilst waiting for delivery of mine.
So please PM me if anyone in Sydney is seriously interested in buying them off me and prepared to pick them up, install and post the pics afterwards.

NOTE: I would only be offloading them at cost and proof of that can be provided upon request.

Yes, I would be interested in the sliding nuts Transporter. What sort of cost is involved?
