Side steps/running boards on a white Tiguan?

Do any of you have these fitted and have pictures to post up? I want to see how they look if they are subtle or not. I have picked some up really cheap (too good a deal to turn down) but not fitting yet until I've seen how they could look on a white Tig.

Check my signature below for link to pics and thread.

Definitely handy when washing car and for your ankle biters to hop in and out of the car by themselves.

FWIW, came across the originals from VW the other day and they look fugly!

Too thick and look like two giant wafer biscuits stuck on the side!

Thanks for that I just bought these ones.........

    Volkswagen Tiguan 'Rogue' Side Steps

I've just had the whole front end modified to give a unique look and also installed Bi-xenons so wouldn't want to make the car look less sporty so still unsure how these side steps will look until I fit them.

IMHO, your ones look like wafer biscuits as well ... too chunky!

FWIW, I don't think they'll look very nice, especially since your side skirts and lower bumpers are painted as well.

    Will not be subtle!

Possible to get away with it on a silver Tig. But not CW.

They look like they were stolen from some other make and model car, even in this pic:

I hear what you say about the Silver car aussietig as I think they suit the car really well. I'm not sure how they will look once fitted but I liked the look of them and the reflection in the paintwork from the design looks cool as well. Whether or not they appear too "chunky" is a personal matter of opinion really but the mere fact they cost £225 brand new and I got them for £60 means I couldn't really pass up the opportunity. For me it's all down to looks so if I feel they don't fit in with my overall theme then I'll sell them on. It's useful to have other people's opinions though to avoid making expensive mistakes.
