I did a quick check on the net and the only thing that i came up with was on the mytiguan forum seems to be something about sticking handles , not a huge problem but i thought i should let you all know. Oh and the cost of our first service was $138.15 but it was only that cheap because we have had lots of problems with our bluetooth , so far we have had 3 units replaced and so far this unit is working fine , so as a jesture for all the trouble they charged us for parts only .
Ultra,
I had my Tiguan serviced (15,000) last Friday and the same recall (57D5) was performed . The service manager told me that it had to do with the cover over the drivers door key hole falling off . A modification was made to a tab to prevent this from happening . Cheers
