There is a sports cloth in the 147/155tsi which has a suede material. This may work better for you.
The leather seats are likely going to be more slippery.

I'm keen to find out if the leather seats in some Tiguans are all classed as sports seats and do a better job of holding you in place than the standard fabric seats in my car; a MY 2011, built 2010.
Appreciate any comments as the standard seat I find lacking in spirited driving!

I see Guy_H has some leather Mk VI R seats in the parts for sale section... Wonder if they would fit? (fair chance !)
