Considered the Golf R? Take a look at Sharkie and Clip's Tig TSI's for examples of just what you can get out of your TSI if you go the Tig route (which would be a good move )

As for stocks, the dealers can see what stock is available in Aus from ANY VW dealer, so it's more a quetion of whether there is a Tig in the country that meets the specs you want. If there isn't one here already, I hope you're a patient person!

Besides the new steering wheel and HVAC controls, do these 2011 model come with new alloy wheel design? Strange that VW Australia site has no information and yet dealers are taking orders.....

The one I saw which had the updated steering wheel has the same alloy wheels as MY10.

The R would be nice but it seems stock is even more scarce than the Tigs. It's probably stretching my budget a little as well.

What I presume Arctra meant is .... the TSI Tiguans have the best of both worlds ... its got the engine of the GTI Golf and the AWD system of the Golf R .... add a single subtle mod being the APR chip and its as quick as the Golf R, yet still with the versatility of a small SUV ....
