The MY11 Tiguan is now on the official VW website. Brochure has been updated also.

I see the colour palette has changed slightly - there is now a Night Blue metallic, and a Pepper Grey metallic.

Nice to see the better fuel economy and speed to 100km jump for the petrol engines. 1.1 sec faster for the 125kw and 1.3ltr better ltr/100km.

That's substantial! Without going to the website to investigate, would these figures relate to the new auto gearbox or diesel models only? What about factory TSI gains in that department?

    Updated Tiguan Brochure

Finally decided to get off their @$$. Here's a copy:

    https://docs.google.com/fileview?id=...thkey=CMHGv70N

Would've been nice to have seen something like this, before committing blindly to an order and a 4-5 month wait.

Not happy about the reason for the holdup ... had to wait for Wally to photoshop some NSW Euro plates into the pics.
But Wally, the front & rear plates don't match! So is this suppose to be a pic of a stolen Tig just before it was used to run down a few ATMs?

Anyhow thank God he didn't try to redo the white Tig in the distance. That would've been another month's wait.

After reading the spec on the 147 TSI, I'm really happy to see that it is faster and uses less fuel. Glad I waited for mine.

Finally faster (on paper) than a 125TSI manual.

Not a real fan of that dark blue colour.

And can someone please explain to me how the 125TSI Manual can be faster in the 0-100km/hr when the 2011 engine is outputting the same power as the 2010 125TSI Manual?

The My11 advert was on tv just before.

    Drive away $39,XXX

I paid 37k so those are some bloody expensive badges and steering wheel upgrade.....
I also got pearl paint and floor mats thrown in so it makes the disparity even more apparent.
