I have read posts in the Passat section about this and this site was suggested -Volkswagen Map & Softwareupdates I checked it out but for the Tiguan it only had for 2015 onwards. As my car is a 2011 does this mean I can't get map updates for the RNS510? I have 2015 at present. What are my options? Change the unit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for this. V8 is what I have. I'm disappointed with VW and when compared to Tom Tom who updates maps once a year at the least. How easy would it be to replace the RNS510 for an aftermarket unit. Any suggestions?Originally Posted by kamold
