Anyone got a photo of where the camera sits on the back of the tig??
Dealership didn't know where the camera was mounted.

Yep thats it, it sits just off-centre to the right (on my 147 anyhow)

we have the AVC9000 fitted to our jetta.. but never fitted the reversing camera for two reasons..... figured i would never use it and secondly my whole car is white.... so a big black camera is not gonna be able to be hidden on the bumper.
We are looking at getting the sat nav so we have to have the rvc.
they didn't have one in stock with it fitted and the saleswoman hadn't seen one on a car yet. another salesman said he was pretty sure it was next to the release handle but not 100%... so i guess he was right.
we test drove the 125TSI manual yesterday and my wife (will primarily be her car) liked it as did i.
now its negotiating time.

It's taken me about 9 months to get used to using the reversing camera, now I use it all the time and when I get in another car, I instictively look for it - and miss it when it's not there.
As for the cameras that come with the cheap units, forget them. Ignoring the fact that they are HUGE, they are rubbish image quality too.
Get something like an alpine or eqivalent (work great night and day), or the OEM one that sits with the number plate light.
