    Yes I did
The 130tdi was far more impressive in our eyes than the 155tsi in so many ways.

well ended up putting a deposit down on a 155tsi today, financially it worked out better than the 130tdi (cheaper) plus I would have had to get aftermarket leather in the 130tdi. Car is arriving in January, I just hope the fuel consumption is around the 10-11l/100km on normal city use!

Yes as MGV stated there's 27kW/60Nm difference in the engine. This equates to a 0-100 time of 10.2sec for the 103TDI and 8.5sec for the 130TDI. So even though it doesn't sound like a massive difference, it's quite noticeable on the road.

Also there's a bunch of trim/interior upgrades that the 130TDI gets that the 103 doesn't. Upgraded seats, touch screen display with reverse camera, chrome exterior trims and chrome roof rails. Plus you can get the 130TDI with the R-line body kit.

How about some chrome bag hooks Tigger ???

It is basically equivalent to 155 TSI vs 132 TSI.

I can't remember if the new 130TDI gets the chrome bag hooks or not. Though it's a decent upgrade from the 103TDI to 130TDI and not much increase in price (for the new car at least). If you were looking at a TDI and you could afford the 130TDI I'd definitely get it over a 103TDI.

Also when it comes time to trade in a few years time the 130 will be the one people will want, so hopefully will retain a bit more value.

    Congratulations!

As long as there aren't many roadworks it could be around 11L/100km. Otherwise, when it comes to the fuel economy there isn't much of the difference between city and combined economy for the TDI and also it's much more forgiving to the lead footed ones when it comes to the fuel economy than the TSI engines (any petrol engines).

But, just seeing your signature, you most likely know what I mean.

i'm assuming it's the same engine? Just different tune?

As soon as the warranty lapses on our 2012 103tdi im going to tune it to be at lest 140 atwkw i've got a list of things to do!
