There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

I have the exact same problem, I was going to say lower the car but its stills hits just not as bad.We picked up our Tiguan 147 today and am very pleased with it. Only one problem - the arial hits the garage door!! Any suggestions.
Park Assist, Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Leather, Mats, Window tint, I think that's about all. Drove it about 200k today (40deg C +) and can report that the airconditioner works a treat. Can't say the same for the sat nav - I hope it is just because I have not read the instruction book.![]()
I bought a stainless steel short aerial from Repco as my garage is on the low side too. Looks a million dollars but cost about $5 I think.
What's the ipod problem? If it's the media in, and you have an iphone which it says it isn't compatible, just ignore it, it will work anyway (though I don't know if it charges, haven't tested that yet).
MY08 R32, DSG, Sunroof, RNS510
MY11 Audi Q5 3.0 TDI
All I had to do was turn up the volume on the iPod!!
I just picked up our new 125 TSI auto (comfort pack, sunroof, park assist). What a machine! First impressions:
- If you are thinking of buying a Tiguan, do it!
- Heaps of oomph, and flat torque curve like a turbo diesel
- Park Assist is surreal. Great for spots that you think are too tight for the car
- Sunroof makes the car feel special
- Auto hold is clever, but you need to turn it on every time you start the car
- You can drive off with the park brake on, as it turns itself off (as long as you are in gear, doors shut and have seat belt on)
