I believe mine are 102 load rating and Y speed rated.
Your ratings have to be higher than stock as it is illegal to go lower.
Tyre wear i don't know about but mine have been pushed hard and haven't started to wear down at all (almost 3000km on them)
Hey Aussie,
Incase you're wondering, your Bostons are worth about $1,200-$1,300 if they come with decent tyres.
2010 Tiguan 147, Black, "Savannah" 19x9 Anthracite Wheels, Leather, Sunroof, Tint
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum. Just got my Pepper grey MY11 Tiguan and now have installed H&R springs and Giovanna Kilis rims (20x8.5", ET35)
I think they fill out the arches nicely and have a great concave look side profile:
Nice rims man! Offset looks good too What size tyres you running?

Awesome indeed!
But your pics do highlight an issue I think I will also have as well with my new wheels.
That is, tyre are perhaps not black enough to match and is in serious need of a shine (constantly).
Did you just change the springs only or shocks as well Dubs?
How are the kidneys coping with 20" and the low profile? They look like 30 - 35s right?
They actually look quite decent.
Normally the Giovani rims are bling factor 100% and style 0% but these are a welcome change.
Make sure you use a sealant on the wheels otherwise they will turn "brake dust grey" in a week.
If anyone is interested in getting 20" VMR wheels for their Tig please show your support at the link below;

Tyres are 255/35/20. I put the H&R springs onto stock struts and the ride is quite firm, I am still getting used to it but the car looks so much better!!
I looked for a while at rims to find some that looked good and also were available in the correct size, offset and bolt pattern, there are definitely lots of ugly chrome styles out there!!
