22" is workable on the Mk2, but is too gangsta on the Mk1 - Brazilian specials?

It almost looks.. sensible.

I'd say 18-19 for daily use, and 20 for show, is the sizing on the Mk1; whereas 20 is more your daily option a la R Line and you can run to 22 and still look 'normal' on the Mk2.

WHen I profiled this car a couple of weeks ago I thought it just pulls it off, only because the whole upgrade has been done very well.

Yes it has the right amount of lowering/offset to make the wheels work.

This is a nice aggressive look that would still be practical.

And again offset and a decent amount of lowering make the car sit "right" on a large wheel.
