U guys are devilish! But u know what team_v, Gary n MGV... I was actually thinking of spraying it white. Haha but like Gary said its hard to maintain the white wheels unless I change pads to reduce the overwhelming brake dust I'm getting from the current original brakes. Which I'm looking to solve... Hehe *hint*

But yes! Next up is lowering!!! My H&R sport springs are waaaaiting to be installed!! Still looking for a good place to fit the springs without too much $$$!!! )))

How much lower can we go without causing any problems with just uprated springs? My car already had the R Line suspension so would that mean I am already lower than standard? I would only want to go about 25mm lower.

R-line is purely cosmetic, no performance/suspension components sorry.

This says that the R Line is base on the Sport model and gets sports suspension whatever that is.....

Imposing new R Line model joins the Tiguan Range : Volkswagen News : Volkswagen UK

I think by lowering it with your H&R will do the trick...but spraying the black bumper in malaysia only cost me AUD250...fair price for me...another way in making your wheels look bigger is putting the rim protectors(striking n protective to our rims) since u have black wheels with white body...hmm...blue or purple might do the trick!!

I believe that it is in reference to the adaptive chasis control/dynamic chasis control rather than actual sports suspension as the height differene is exactly the same as my standard base model.

From memory it is used as a quick way to set the damping rates between comfort, normal and sports.

This Produb wheel protection thing is a nice idea. Does it actually work?? I guess nothing will stop damaging ur wheels if u go all the way into the curb but these wld protect it if it's just gentle rubbing of the curb.

Have to see if the concave wheels I have sticks out too much. These obviously sticks out a bit to protect the wheels. Don't know how it'll look w the strip sticking out on a side profile.

I'm thinking white or red!!! Haha

A$250 to spray all ur bumpers to color code w the body???? That's crazy cheap. It's at least A$2,000 here.

the produb wheel protector does look great rite? but im not pretty sure how long would it last as its made of rubber too...just worried when the protector tends to harden up n our tyres will run flat!! anyway, its just an idea to make your 19" rim looks bigger...haha!!
Wow!! with A$2k i can respray the whole tig n throw in few hundred more i can get the matt colour paintjob too in malaysia...cost a bomb over there...lol
