Well folks, today was fun! Had a buyer come thru at 8am, liked the car etc.. Left the keys in the ignition (my fault).. Went to find keys 2hrs later, noticed they were in the car, parking lights were on.. Battery flat.. RACQ to the rescue, got it running, charging well.. problem is every bloody light that can be on, is on, including a warning to service the air bags... Oh and now everything's in German, blutiges Auto macht mich verruckt................. sigh!!!

So my question for today... Can I reset this back to English myself? Or is this a trip to VW or someone with the diagnostic tool to reset it and get all the lights off again?

Got it back to close to normal. Just the airbag fault light stays on.. not a good look.. Off to spend even more money to get that fixed.. I would hope they'll do it for free considering it should take 3 mins to fix and it's 35 days out of warranty..

The same happened to me after the battery died. It was a two min job at a specialist garage. He wasnt even going to charge me, but it was worth beer money I reckon.
Cant sell it with an airbag light on...scare people off
