TDI tiguan in the drive. ParkAssist, comfort, fogs
Service every 15,000, new fault code every 7,500km
Tiguan TDI, 6spd Tiptronic Auto
Black, sunroof, comfort pack, off-road tech, tan leather, park assist & roof bars.
Avg 7.63L/100km over 189,000kms
The current park assist (pre 2010)is 1.5m and that's way less than I'd park in myself (by choice anyway), think I'd have a heart attack at 1.1m !!!!!!!
Cheers

I agree, 1.1m would be just asking to be nudged parked by the car behind or infront. It would be interesting to know exactly what changes have been made with the park assist, sensors, hardware/firmware or steering rack?
Personally I rarely use PA but I guess when I get a stiff neck or some other disability, the use of it is always available. Maybe the tight spots are what it is best used for, but I would just look for a larger car space.
TIGUAN MY09 103 TDI auto, White,18in Alloys,MDI ,Bk Leather, Comfort Pack, Park Assist, Fog Lights, Sun-roof & Tow Bar / VW roof racks running Goodyear Assymetric 2 Tyres
GOLF 7 MY14.5 Pure White,TDI Bi-Xenon, S/roof,Adaptive CC, DAP, Leather, Pirelli Tyres .
Yep, I use it most when the parking spaces are a bit tight, you know the one's where you "know" you can get in there BUT don't want to look like a prat if you stuff it up and have to have another go and another and >>>>>>>>.
So, just flick on park assist, put your hands on your head and get on with it !!!

Can someone post both the MY10 dash photos?
The earlier link doesn't work for me?
Actually, might have found pics on the US VW site.

Have a look at the German VW website and download the Tiguan brochure. In it it shows the all new 2010 version with the new Golf VI climatic and also the full climate control panel. Gone is the old panel.
