    My Tig Build

    Hey guys,
    Thought I better stop being lazy and start a build up thread for my 2009 Black Tiguan 125 manual.Things done so far;

    Stereo upgrade - Hertz 6" splits in front doors, Hertz 12" boxed sub in boot, Hertz 4 channel amp under seat. This system combined with the stock RCD310 absolutely rocks!! Very happy with it and all for just $1400 installed. Go see Tony at Doran Pro Audio, Bankstown, he does great work at fantastic prices, tell him Simon sent you

    Replaced standard antenna with Sharan replica stubby (stock one was hitting my garage door ) sourced through Tim from dubaddiction.com.au, also looks great http://www.dubaddiction.com.au/index...products_id=21

    On the to-do list;

    H&R sport springs

    18" rims (still not sure which ones yet)

    APR chip

    Neuspeed P-Flo air intake

    Window Tint

    Will take some pics when I've given her a wash, she's suffering plastered bug syndrome at the moment from 2 recent trips to Sydney

    So far have racked up 1400kms in one week of ownership and I'm EXTREMELY happy with the car, absolutely love it!! More to come

    Nice work Simon! I'm looking forward to seeing a nicely done up Tiguan Update your sig as well!

    As for wheels, I'd love to see some AMG rims on a Tig, and I honestly believe you can go to 19's or even 20's comfortably due to the massive size of the arches.

    Thaks Branko, a member on here called "Clip" has 19" AMGs on his Tig. Looks pretty damn nice too. Reason I went for 18"s was that I didn't want a harsh ride from a too low profile tyre. With 18"s I can get away with using a 50 series which shouldn't detract from the ride quality too much.........i hope They also aren't as dear as poison like 19" and 20" tyres

    Philthy; the H&Rs should drop it by 40mm or so, again I didn't wanna go too radical as this car will still be seeing some dirt road/fire trail usage
