    A jolly good laugh!

I was searching for some POI etc to up load to my sat nav and I came across a Ford forum that was talking about speed cameras and QLD police vehicles. There were some interesting posts on there, but the few that caught my interest were the list of Q-car vehicle purchases by QLD Police:
    3 Chrysler 300C's, 22 VW's, 7 Honda's, 9 Subaru's, 13 Mazda's, 191 Toyota's.

Evidently the VWs include Passats and GTi's (no Tigs yet ).

The other posts that made me grin were:

"I suppose the VWs will be used to book the Toyotas for not keeping left unless overtaking"

"Nah most of the VW are Golfs.. A lot of the Country towns like Warwick have em as chasers... Its rediculous but it works apparently..."

and this one from a guy that has an XR8 Ute:
    "golf gti "

And this last one really made me laugh out loud:
"You all seem to forget that if you are pursued in your Ford by one of these things or the Toyotas you will soon shake them off on the bends and roundabouts!"

    Damn!!! I knew I should've bought a falcon!

They're 100% correct, I've seen taxis pull of some outstanding maneuvers that would never be possible in something as ordinarily handling as a WRX

BOGANS! BOONERS! WESTIES! They're everywhere! And breeding in trailer parks at an astonishing rate!!
2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!

I forgot to add the POI site, got lots of interesting and handy locations- like when you just can't find that favourite hamburger joint, coffee shop, bottle shop or the fuel station that I prefer to use. Also has heaps of camping and picnic spots and the latest speed camera and redlight camera spots. Has a big range of file formats that looks like would suit every NAV software.
