There are numerous threads on vortex and mytiguan.
    NZTiguan did his.
If it's retrofitted, does it void the warranty.
Also is the genuine VW Tiguan foglights available?

    Hi Yooshi
Im just starting the bargaining process and am looking at the same specs as you have detailed. Which dealer did you go with? Might pay them visit.

Amazing price with sunroof and Park Assist. Personally though, I would go BiZenons in place of park assist. It is the number 1 accessory in my view and you don' realise their worth until you start long night drives., which of course isn't the normal test drive pattern.

Mate good luck in the bargaining process.
I can tell you it's a bit of a headache though.
The price I got was with a fleet discount as the company I work for is a coporate member with VW.

There are two dealers that I dealt with and the one that I am dealing with is a f*&king nightmare.
The first dealer I dealt with was awesome and great to deal with. The price she offered was a bargain but didn't have the black colour I wanted with the options.

I went with the second dealer cause he said they have a black car with the options I want and it's in the process of being made.
Now i've been told I can't get the black coloured car unless I wait for the face lifted model to arrive in October/November, so the only colour that I can opt for is the pepper grey colour.

Also the pepper grey doesn't come with the sunroof but comes with the leather, so if I want the car with all the options I want I need to go with the pepper grey tig and forgo the sunroof for the leather. The colour doesn't really bother me but what bothers me is the extra 2g or so that I have to fork out for the f*&king leather that I don't even want.

In conclusion I would advise you to give Denlo VW a call or visit and ask for Carmen.
She is great to deal with.
Remember that with my deal I was able to get the fleet discount but she should be able to give you the same sort of price on just normal retail too (if it's the current model, don't know about the discounts available on the new face lifted model).

I hope this helps and good luck.

I am getting the new pricing drawn up from the dealer and will post that soon.

    Cheers.

Hi, I'm new. Sorry to intrude on your thread, but since it's about pricing I thought it might be of interest.

I am in Nth Qld and our prices are usually higher than the sth states.

Still debating to get diesel or petrol. I want petrol, hubby thinks diesel.

The first, unhaggled, price I have been given is $54,038 for the 125TSI Petrol:

    Bi-Xenon headlights $2000
    Sidesteps $940
    Nudge bar & spotlights $300
    Dash mat - N/A
    Carpet Floor mats $284
    Cargo tub – plastic $483
    Towball $1387
    Headlight protectors $117
    Bonnet protector $133
Mud flaps front and rear $375
    Darkest tinting on windows $445
    Parallel Park Assist $1400
MDI – without the Volkswagen iPod $270
    Scuff plates $414
    Leather Upholstery Pack $4000
    Off road pack $300
    Colour – Pepper Grey $800

Michelle, you should be able to knock a fair bit more off that.

When you remove the options they are charging you 39,990 for the standard 125TSI.

Mine was 36,900 for the base car
