I saw it on the weekend and it now says 37,990.
It read 36,990 last week, hence why I did the deal on my one for 37k.
Now the long wait, but it gives me chance to buy the mods i want for it to keep me occupied.

I have searched but not located a tiguan pricing thread.
Is there one around or has it not been started?..

Under $50000 on road a good deal?
Drive away price at the moment is 37,990 for a 125 manual in candy white.
Gosford (Central coast VW) are doing 34,990 for the same deal if you are a member of VWWC.
Add on all the options and work out how much it would cost at RRP and then work out how much of a reduction you are getting.
Volkswagen Tiguan 125TSI Wagon = 34,990 or 37,990
6 Speed Manual = 0
OPTIONS: Candy White = 0
Panoramic Electric Glass Sunro = 2000
Leather with FSS & EDS = 4000

So far that is 50,500 using the Gosford drive away price and without the other accessories that i couldn't find prices for.
Under 50k is pretty decent considering you have over 10-15k worth or accessories on it.
However i think you could bargain it down to at least 45 as that would be 10% off which is about the average discount.
Pricing Spreadsheet is here:

Just be aware that prodcution of the 2010 model doesn't begin until April and the first delivery won't be until June.
Apparently the face-lifted model is due out in 2011 so also take that into consideration.
Should be facelifted to the mk6's sharper lines and thinner grill.
Might also have different engine specs
Try the "how much should I pay thread" some good info there.
Regarding the facelifted tiguan I was under the impression it was going to be released at the Geneva motor show in march and in production as the my11 model which would be this year sometime. Anyone else have info regarding this ?
There hasn't been any spy shots, sketches or leaks or any kind or even teasers so i don't know if it will be out in the 2010 calendar year.
As far as i can recall, it is meant to be updated in the 2011 calendar year and will most likely come out here around June 2011.
Guess we will see come March.
Also none of the dealers i spoke to had any idea about the tiguan facelift at all, but that isn't really surprising.
I have found a few articles about the refresh but again unsure of just when they will change over. Eg will it actually be 2011 or the year model my11.

Does anybody know when vw usually change from my10 to m11 - mid year or later ?
I'm not sure about those spy shots.
Everything still looks the same (grill, front bumper shape, headlight parts that we can see)
VW normally change MY years after June 30.
So now, cars are 2010 build and my10.
After june they will be 2010 build but My11
Thanks for that "team v" clears up all the my10-11 confusion for me. I agree there doesn't seem much of a change in the spy pics.
No problems.
There were some renders done in a magazine but they weren't official and they basically just stuck the mk6 gti front on the tiguan.
Since the car sizes are completely different it looked like crap and got bagged out all over the net.
The Toureg gets a facelift for the my11 model i believe, so it might be a little longer than that for the tiguan as it is only a recent addition.
Have a look at the Chinese spec (currently available) Tiguans. They have a different front end, a long wheel base option and even a 7 seat option in the long wheel base version.
It came out late 2009 and is the clearest indicator of where the facelifted 2010/2011 Tiguan is going to land.
No new engines as yet, except for the 125kw TDI and 110kw 1.4TSI which are available overseas already. (and FWD models)
