145000 Tiguans were produced in 2009.

310000 total since 2007 .

Petrol.

North America doesn't get the TDI option.
We get 2 petrols and 1 diesel option.
Europe gets more petrol variants than diesel as well.

Only thing that may sway this guess is that europeans are very easy to go with Diesel cars as they get rebates etc.
Whilst here we get slugged andextra 2.5k for the priviledge of being better for the environment.

Singapore also doesn't get the TDI, only the the 2 petrol versions with 4motion. I'm quite surprised they don't offer the FWD option there as it's 100% urban and there is nowhere you can go off road. There is also no snow to worry about.

And the cost of a 125TSI Tig in Singapore starts at.... $87,000.

Well, at least they got Heidi Klum to advertise the Tig over there.

There are now TOO MANY Tiguans on the road .....

Just did the drive Brisbane => Sydney => Brisbane this weekend and spotted more than 20 Tiguans ..... (more than any other VW on the way)

2 weekends ago did Brisbane => Bundaberg => Brisbane and spotted 13 Tiguans ....

Its getting too common now ...

... time to get something more exclusive ...

Not too many with the mods like yours, so I wouldnt be worried. Most we see are just non-car loving soccer mums who do not appreciate the Tig for what it is...

We can all enjoy our "enhanced" Tigs with pride!
