I work in a different industry where the manufacturer also runs the sales, support and service business for the country.
This way the manufacturer has a more direct control over the customer experience than outsourcing to a third party company.
I'm not too upset about having to buy a new battery. Of course I would like it to have lasted longer though if it had gone at the start of winter instead it would have been better financially to have it replaced under warranty.
For the record I'm now running a Fiamm Titanium Plus L264+
I'll have to keep your batteries in mind Miro for future.
