Help - Washing a new Tig

    Hi all

I purchased a new Tig last week and expecting delivery around April

I've been doing quite a bit of reading on various detailing forums in terms of washing new cars and detailing (including the "Cleaning vehicle" section in the sticky "Tiguan Care Cheat Sheet") but am still very confused.

Once I get the car, I just want to make sure it keeps looking great.

So I know I need to wash the car with the 2 bucket method. Easy. And then dry using waffle weaves or other microfibre towels. That's when things get hazy for me.

Should I then use a sealer or jump straight to wax (looking to use Collinite 476 or Meguiars #16)?

I also assume I won't need to use polisher at all until I get paint damage or swirl marks?

I'd be grateful for any experiences you have and any particular products you recommend.

I use a good quality carnauba wax and then finish with the Maguiars Ultimate Detailer (which is awesome, use it about every other wash).
