Hi all,
I have been following up the forum for a while since I ordered my Tiguan in the end of March this year. I picked up my car today and it seems everything went perfect until I took it for a short drive and realised that there is a dashboard noise when on low speed or low gear vibration. I took the car back to the dealer immediately and was advised to go to service centre for an inspection. The mechanism in the service department ride with me and said there must be something loosen in your dashboard and a service is needed. So I went back to the dealer head manager and he organised the service for me next week.
I was let down a bit about this as everyone in the sales department was telling it is highly unlikely to happen in new cars.
I just wonder does that happen to anyone in the forum? What should I do?
Thanks in advance.

Yes ... definitely not a good start.
Shouldn't happen when they're built out of Wolfsburg.

What's Wolfsburg got to do with it?? VW's are built to the same standards worldwide...
It's a manufactured item, and these things happen. Just keep on to the service department until the fault is rectified.

Tell that to people who own Golfs built in South Africa plagued with rattles vs those built in Germany.

Well now this brings Wolfsburg into line with VW's other plants then...
My Spanish built Polo's A/C died in the first week of ownership... It's a **** sandwich you have to take a bite out of occasionally.

Well put it this way ... if you were asked to pay the same price for a VW built in Germany, Spain or even China (one day).
Which one would you pick?
"Same standards" is all you can ease your mind with when not given the choice.
