Help. Info please. Steerling wheel electrics.

Hey Guys. I heard something come loose in the steering wheel while driving and as i turned the wheel whatever came off rolled around a bit inside and now the electrics on the wheel are not working, including the horn, the airbag, the stereo and bluetooth controls, and dash board info controls. Sounds like something just came loose so i don't want to pay for a service if i dont have to. Any ideas whats happened there?
