Haldex Coupling - Oil Change and VCDS Temperature Check

    Hello,

I am looking at changing the Haldex coupling high performance oil and read that you need to check the temperature post oil change.

Looking for some assistance with the VCDS application to see whether it can tell me if I can get the temperature from the application. So far I have used VCDS>Section 22:AWD>MEAS. BLOCKs> and been through all 250 configus (some are blank as per manual) but have not come across an option showing me the temperature - any ideas of how I can get the temperature from VCDS, if I can?

    Many thanks,
    Andrew.

    Honestly, I don't think it's that important.

There would be a marginal difference in fluid level, from stone cold to normal operating temperature at best.

Can't see it's a real problem (as Umai Naa says) - I'm sure all sorts of bells and whistles would be going off if it started getting too hot (or would simply stop working). I changed my controller myself to the high-performance (blue) one, and lost a fair bit of oil in the process (even though they say you shouldn't) so was running around with only 100-200ml instead of the recommended 400-500ml for a while until I could get the proper Haldex stuff from the US - wondered why it was making funny noises and turns out the pressure pump must have been having trouble getting enough fluid All good again once I filled it up. That was at least 25000km ago and haven't had any dramas since so pretty robust set up I'd presume.
    Cheers
