I have the Eibach Pro Kit springs, have had them in for a year. I just wanted a slightly lower look & also thought the stock springs were too soft & allowed to much body roll as well as excessive nose-dive & tail-squat. These springs have cured that! Watch what your headlights do when you put your foot down at night with the original set up... Car just stays nice & flat with the Eibach springs.
I was going to go for a sway bar & ALK as well, but was impressed enough with the job that just the springs were doing, i decided to leave it where it was! I have a feeling Eibach offer slightly less lowering compared to H&R, which may allow the stock shocks a bit more life... ?
I would say they are a great product, but certainly feel a need to go a bit easier over speed humps & driveway crossings etc.

I put my h&r springs in 2 days ago, wife already complaining ride is too bumpy. I also agree but may need some time for them to settle.
Hmmm OK well then the straw poll says Eibach with stock springs and/or H&R with the Cup-Kit (change shocks as well).
Interested in any other feedback before I place an order... swinging back in the direction of Eibach springs now.

Tigger, I have the H&R (29274-2) installed. they are for 2.0 tfsi/tdi motors.
I have different outcome from the others, the ride on my tig is smoother and not as bumpy after fitting the lowered springs. Maybe it's due to extra weight of the 19" wheels. Even the missus said so.
I did find with the oem 16" wheels the ride becomes jittery.
I'd be interested to see how this goes. I'm about to lower mine as well but I have a long commute every morning on bumpy roads. I've got the 18"NY Alloys so it could be different again.
So many conflicting reviews. A lot say go for coilovers, but all my memories of owning cars with coilovers was that the ride was hard as ****.
