what would be the difference between the 35 and 45 in terms of looks and driving?
10 mm wouldnt seem like much to me but i know nothing about wheels.
Totally understand where you're coming from, mate...
One other factor to consider, though: when i ordered mine, i chose the ET45 offset, but it was unavailable at the time so opted for the 35 offset & am glad i did!! It's the one to go for with the Tiggy... Do GTC offer them in 35 offset?

Is the Group Buy still on ?.. just saw this thread today
I'm keen to get some 18 inchers (to replace the stock 16's)
Yes they do come in ET35's and thats what I'm hoping to get as I want to sit fully flushed and maybe just that tad fatter.
Good to hear that some guys have bought from Jason! He's saying the coming container load in March are selling quickly and may not have stock if we are not fast enough.
Yes GB still on if we can get more numbers. Min 3. Or better yet, 6, for a lot savings for the 18's.
well count me in then if he has 18s in normal colours with the right et .. still not sure if et45 is bad or not... i think it should be ok.
It won't be bad, its just that most people want the look to be as wide as legally acceptable... ie flush with the guards. ET35 will give you a 20mm wider 'stance' compared to ET45.
I'm thinking about this as well, i think its the ET45 for the Golf GTI - i had a look at thier site and yup they look the biz!!
Do we know if there are any Matte Anthracite 18 in's left?
Current ride - MKVI GTI, Candy White, 4 door, Detroits, DSG, BT
Previous VW - MK 1 Golf Clipper Convertible - 1993 - gone and now called Linda
Previous VW - MK 1 Golf GTI 1983, Lhasa Green, Perrielli P's, euro front look, gone but not forgotten
ET35 will give you a 10mm wider stance than ET45.
