sorry - for the unitiated, it is VAG (Volkswagen Automotive Group - including Skoda, Audi & VW) electronic parts catalogue system. Got a bootleg version from the UK, but can't get it to work on my computer (more computer problem I think - running crap Vista OS)

For anyone looking for a flappy paddle steering wheel with airbag and cable there's a new supplier:

VW Multifunction Steering Wheel with DSG - GTI R-Line - Flat Bottom 1K8419091 5K0419091 - Golf Scirocco

They have either black with red stitching or black with black stitching. Make sure you get the ones with the DSG paddles.

Works out to about $900 landed in the country for a brand new wheel and airbag.

Thanks. Did you order from there? I've heard some issues about shipping the airbags by air because the igniters are deemed to be hazardous explosives??? What was your experience?

If you use Chrome, you can get it to auto-translate. You sorta get some pidgin English translations but good enough nevertheless.

Finally decided to install my paddle shift steering wheel, very easy!
Luckily i didn't have to change my airbag as i had the same steering wheel but without paddles and different shape.
