Ahh, it was you! I was sure I'd heard someone doing that, but couldn't remember who when or what brand. From memory, you fitted it yourself too?

Thanks for the info again! Much appreciated.

No, had the local tyre shop do it, although I suspect it's not such a hard job.
but with my lack of technical expertise, and the likelihood of stuffing something up, I'd rather leave it to the mechanics...

Going to the last adjustment, and probably let out some air, hoping it will give me flatter cornering and more ride comfort (we live at the end of a very rough drive of 500mtr and with the recent rains it's a bit rutted out.

BTW, the swaybar links were about the same price as the swaybar, but well worth the extra spend.

let me know how you go

Tigga, why do the links make a difference? I'd have thought a link is a link is a link

Can you confirm that it's the same as the R32 Golf? I've checked out some places on the net and seems the sway bar is going for anything from $370 to well over $500! Can ask where you got yours from? Thanks.

Mmmmm, 125 KW would be great.

Clip - it sounds like you are having FAR too much fun.

I can only imagine what that thing is going to go like when you get it chipped.
So nice to think about the shock you might give WRX drivers all over town!

    Go the TIG!

    hey clip
definately same as R32, foudn this out on US site, but confirmed with Ian @ Rennenhaus.com.oz

He's extremely helpful and convinced me to get the links as well, even though they're about the same price as the bar itself.

give him a call or email, or check out Neuspeed website, which explains in more detail.

I did get lucky and get the sway bar before prices went up with recent downturn... but there should be some existing R32 stock still about.

Anyway, have dealt with Ian before, he's a first class guy and will go over and above what is required as far as service and back-up is concerned. My 200% recommendation!

if you compare pics of links, you will see that aftermarket links have much better bearings/bushes which, in turn, will provide much better and more reliable response.

let me know how you go !
