Run-out Deals on Gen 1 Tiguan

Post up the deals you've negotiated on run-out gen 1 Tiguan.

    2015 (MY16) 118TSI Manual for $24,990 drive-away (carsales)

118TSI Manual is listed on VW website at $27,990 drive-away
118TSI DSG is listed on VW website at $29,990 drive-away

    132TSI DSG for $35,990 drive-away (carsales)
    132TSI DSG + leather $41,945 drive-away (carsales)

    155TSI R-line $45,990 drive-away (carsales)

Still waiting for all the backlog of 130TDI diesels to get adblue tanks fitted (or whatever the fix is going to be) and then they'll be dumped on the market. Expect some sharp prices on these to get them shifted as a lot of them will be 2015 build MY16 cars.

Now that the pricing for the Gen 2 Tiguan is out you know where things stand and you can pick up some pretty good deals on the Gen1 Tig.

Given the way the Gen2 is priced I think the Gen1 resale will hold up pretty well now too.

Creampuff I think you did well to get your 155 for low $40's. Equivalent car will be $60k+ soon.

The typical path for OEMs would be to register the cars and run them on their own fleet (or sell cheaply to rental fleet if there is a lot of them) and then sell them on the used market. Super cheap prices would damage the brand. Look for low km 1 year old cars in 2017
TDI tiguan in the drive. ParkAssist, comfort, fogs
Service every 15,000, new fault code every 7,500km

I've heard nothing along those lines yet, only the recall for the soft ware removal .
