    I upgraded both front and rear sway bars with Whiteline bars on Tig1. If I was to do it again I'd probably only do the rear bar as it gives the biggest bang for buck. The stock rear bar is quite flimsy whereas the front bar is already reasonably substantial. Also the rear bar is a DIY on the driveway job compared to the front bar which needs to get done in a workshop on a hoist.

    I had some fitment issues with the Whiteline front sway bar, though I'm sure these have been sorted. Superpro also do sway bars for the Tiguan and I know a few people have installed these.

    First VCDS attempt to fix a lighting error code.
    The story is I changed the Licence plate bulb to canbus free LED bulb and it come up with error code. After reading through a lot of forum and trial this is how to do it:

    * Go into module 09-Central Electronics
    * Then Long Coding Helper
    * Go to Byte 18
    * Tick "License Plate Lighting w/o Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) [LED Lighting]"
    * Do it!

    Also on the way out you can then clear the DTC.

    Service should be every 12 months/15,000km depending on what comes first.

    Can anyone please advise on re-setting the service advisory via RossTech VCDS - mine is coming up months earlier than it should?
    I have tried the ignition on whilst holding the odometer down which does bring up the cancellation warning but selecting OK has no effect.
    it's a 2013 R Line.

    The service advisory can be reset through the MFD settings for the tiguans.

    No need for a rosstech
