OK, so I did a "test run" yesterday - to satisfy my own curiosity more than anything else. Also, it was stinking hot and the idea of being in the air conditioned Tig was appealing
So Belanglo actually has some nice driving. I worked out a loop that will take a couple of hours to complete that has some nice spots for pics, lookouts, and places to stop and chat/eat/etc. Terrain-wise I did the whole thing WITHOUT Off-road turned on - so ANY Tig should be able to handle it. I didn't scrape the bottom at all either so you don't need under body protection.
For anyone with the off-road pack that would like something a little more challenging there is a "Special Loop" track that I can take you on that has some nice loose gravel hills to navigate. Although the loop can be done without off-road engaged I would not advise it. The challenging loop is easily by-passed so if you aren't feeling up to the task it will be a simple case of taking the easy route and waiting for the "dare devils" to rejoin the group.
So, still no takers? Come on! Get to see some bush, get your Tig dirty, and maybe even see some wildlife - we saw some Kangaroo's yesterday but I have also seen Emu and Deer there before when riding.
