    Thanks for that aussietig I had the other half wind the Tiguan up this am and put the anchors on! Got the hazards to kick in but no flashing brake lights, maybe this is available on newer models as mine is a June 08 model. Will try a few of your other options you ad on your link

    Mine is a 2008, part of the second shipment to NZ in about June and this feature definitely works for me. Only had it come on once when I had a REAL emergency braking episode, ASB chattering the whole drama, from 110kph to 0 in about ..... that long. Only thing I can't remember is if they went off automatically or if I had to press the red triangle ? I DO remember wondering what the indicator click click sound was though and initially thought I'd hit the indicators in the "panic" process !!

    As far as I'm aware this was a feature from day one on the Tig. It also unlocks the doors if they're locked, cuts the ignition and I "think" cuts the fuel. Those things must reset though because I was certainly able to drive away a few seconds later.
