I know we have talked about this before, but is it true that there is no way a new Tiguan can be ordered with the Dynaudio system anymore?
That stinks!
Surely if I wanted to pay for it we could have it installed on a vehicle while on the production line?
Is it available in other markets still? Perhaps it is just VW Aust who have chosen not to include it on their specs list.
Any dealers with a better insight?

What a shame hey?!
I also would have liked to have the roof rails deleted! I will never carry anything on them, and it just makes the tig look too top heavy.
I'm sure there would be many others who would at least like the option of choosing to have or not have something included during the build, esp if it IS available for other o'seas markets....

It is like the colour options.
Why they don't have a world wide colour selection and instead restrict you to the 6 "colours" for australia when custom ordering defies me.
Yeah, I'm surprised at that, especially considering that Tigs are so popular down here. Maybe it was the hefty price tag? I still seriously considered getting the dynaudio despite the $$$ although I am very happy with the standard system in the end. I think the money I am about to outlay on the APR and the H&R springs will put me in enough hot water in a few weeks...
My wife is looking at buying a Tiguan in the future and we were given a MY11 price list from a dealer last week and Dynaudio is still an option.

I agree. I am sure that with better "market research" a more suitable outcome would result. Why should someone in an office make the choices for the whole country as to how we will want our vehicles.
As for colour, I would personally love to see some of the awesome colours available worldwide, such as the orange, and the the green (as used on the scirroco R)
I am over the whole "premium" bland colour palate. We do have personality too. It is not just Barina spark drivers that would like brighter colours....or am I on my own here???

Does the Dynaudio option give the colour display screen? If so, when we ordered out Tiggy back in December it was already a missing option (no longer available). We wanted the RVC option, and had to upgrade to the full blown SatNav unit (which we didn't really want/need) - just to get the RVC option.

My car #2: MY22 Volvo XC40 Pure Electric

I recall you could get the RVC on its own, if you took out Park Assist or at least front and rear sensors.
It's just that it is bundled or thrown in with the Sat Nav, based on the price VWA charge for the Sat Nav.
FWIW, I think the sound from the stock speakers are good enough (or least comparable to the powered amp & speakers that came with my Mk5 GTI).
Don't know how it's possible a dealer can offer Dynaudio nowadays. Perhaps as a dealer fitted option.
Definitely was deleted as a factory option for MY11 and definitely not in the official brochure anymore!
I know this first hand, cause I originally ordered it and was advised part way through that it was deleted and spent the money instead on ACC.

MY11 Tiguan 147TSI (SOLD)
The stock stereo was despicable, the Dynaudio was only marginally better ESP when you consider the cost.
Do yourself a favor and just get an aftermarket amp and replace the speakers.
