This year is my second year owning the Tig, the DSG has kept up quite well. It's not a silent unit especially in an cold morning, but once warmed up shift gear like a champ. I have also learned to switch to manual mode when approaching an inclination for smoother drive.
Contrary to yours, my gearbox is always eager to move from standing still. Even when the brake pedal is depressed i can feel the car tugging forward. Perhaps need a firmware upgrade??

Nice try mate but no, definitely wasn't a case of left foot on brake.
I have been driving my Tig now with the dsg box for some 17 months and I am very comfortable with using the dsg as it's meant to be used.
I haven't had a re occurence of the problem over the last couple of days,so maybe it has just gone away.
Will keep monitoring the performance of the dsg as I go.
