    No facelift for MY11 cars unfortunately.
    Maybe a slight headlight adjustment for MY12 though to bring them into line with the rest of the VW brand.

    Oh, the dealer had also confirmed it will be a DSG instead of the normal 6 speed auto gearbox.

    That is the only real update that i know of.
    The steering wheel is a proposed update from the NA cars.

    Jas,

    I can't wait to see it either. It is the 2011 updated version. I'll post the pics as quick as possible.
    Jamanta, have you taken delivery of your new Tig? I saw on YouTube lastnight that the 2011 Tig in the states has a full spare wheel. Does yours have a full spare wheel?

    Not yet. I'll take my Golf for 90K service on Thursday and my Tig may be already there. Interesting this information about the spare wheel, haven't heard anything before. Hope to have some update on Thursday.

    Yes! Got it yesterday morning!!!

    Haven't had any time to take good pictures or post anything 'cause was driving around and got home late. Did almost 100Km only yesterday.
    Today I'm at work and won't arrive home early enough for daylight pictures. It has to wait for the weekend.

    My findings and impressions so far:

    - The differences from the MY10 are only the "4 Motion" badge on the tailgate, the DSG gearshift and the Steering Wheel. I remember reading somewhere that the new MY11 was coming with a full size spare tyre in US. It's not happening for Australia, and I don't think it's true for US either;
    - The sunroof is superb!
    - The DSG (on "D" mode) is definitely programmed for fuel economy. It runs in very low revs. Sometimes it sounds too low for me. But then you have the "S" mode which brings the car alive. I need to play a bit more with it;
    - The Bluetooth module is a must!!! It works perfectly and the quality is top! Even music streaming has a decent quality. It offers full integration. Of course it could be improved with access to the text messages. Than it would be perfect.
    - Voice commands are a challenge for me. My accent does kill any chance of good relationship to the lady inside the box. I will improve it.
    - The steering wheel is much nicer than the previous one (IMO);
    - Parking assist is a lot of fun. I have only tested once, so I need more practice on this one to give my opinion;
    - It's very easy to get used to the reversing camera for parking. Sometimes I found myself completely ignoring the mirrors and just relying on the camera;
    - The parking sensors are for sure very useful but in my case I park the passenger side very close to a wall then the parking sensors just go bananas. I thought ok I just turn it off, however it turns the camera off as well. I may double check it to see if it's possible to deactivate the "beeps" without turning off the camera;
    - There is a glossy black paint on the outside of the doors that get scratches just for looking at them;
    - As I work for the Automotive Industry, I have already found heaps of little details that can pick on, but most of the people wouldn't realize:
    o The roof module came with a tiny scratch, which wouldn't pass the quality control in the company I work for;
    o The glove-box is not flocked (like the Golf) what I think is a degrade for such car;
    o The same applies to the pillars which are covered with plastic instead of textile as the Golf;
    o The RNS510 radio function doesn't include full RDS text!!! (the two previous points I knew before I bought so I can complain, but in this case I'm very disappointed) Anyway, I work for the company that produces the RNS510, so I'll research the reasons why and try to get a software update;
    o I promise I stop whingeing now.
    - Apart from the missing RDS the RNS510 works pretty well. The system response is quite quick and the sound quality seems to be good for a standard. The navigation itself is one of the fastest I have ever operated. It responds very quickly to address input, changes in route and to locate the car position; No comparison to portable ones (much more expensive though);
    I'm sure I forgot to mention something. I'll keep posting my impressions on the "New Tiguan Owner - and my thoughts so far." Thread.

    Now it's time to enjoy my drive home and press more buttons.

    Glad you finally got it.
    Can't wait to see the pictures of the updates.

    They my11 updates don't do much for me.
    I debadged it so the 4mo would just be in the box of tig bits anyway.
    I prefer the older style steering wheel as the buttons are easier to use imho (don't like the 4 way directional pad)

    Now you just need to get the Oettinger remap to 125kw and you'll be laughing
