Damn Roller door!

Ah...My rear spoiler and my electric garage roller door do not get along very well!

It seems that late on sunday evening (monday morning) they argued together, and the roller door had the final say by deciding to drop down a foot or two....

So reversing in on a very dark and foggy night, and "Crunch"!!!! Almost took out the ariel and one of the roof rails.....luckily it just took off some paint from the spoiler above the rear glass. So not too bad....

I was so busy checking the side mirrors, that I made the mistake of assuming that the roller door would be fully up!

So all....check that the door has fully raised...or that the electronic door doesnt get stuck. Our garage door guy said that many car remote key fobs can interfere with the garage door transmitters and receivers, so be careful....

Mate know how you feel!Did exactly the same thing to my 2 week old Tig a few weeks ago.Had the rear door up but the sectional garage door closed.Without thinking I pushed the remote on the door and as the door came up it hit the extreme lower edge of the door and everything jammed up.I Sh##t myself.Imagined buckled rear door ,dents and paint damage.Luckily the garage door stopped when it hit the car,so just some minor paint damage which was brush touchable.Gotta keep the concentration up dont we?

Our garage door just randomly fell down on my mums Mazda a little while ago and now we have a massive dent across the roof and top of the hatch extremely annoying

I got home from a trip away a few weeks ago and took out the roller door with the roof pod. My family thought that I was extremely clever. To say that I felt awesome would be an understatement...
