G'day everyone. My first post here. I'm going to be taking delivery of a new Tiguan within the next week.
I was wondering if the radio system in the Tiguan is DAB or digital, or just the standard analogue?
I had a search to see if this question had already been answered, but couldn't find anything (apologies if it has already been covered!).

Yeah, the website just mentions AM/FM radio (not stipulating either, leading me to believe that it is most likely just your standard analogue type), however, I noticed in a YouTube clip that DAB was available (perhaps just overseas?).

In the UK (possibly all of Europe?) you can get a DAB unit. But here in Aus we use DAB+ which is not backward compatible with DAB. I think we are one of only a handful of countries in the world that have gone DAB+ instead of DAB, so radios of ANY sort are pretty limited at the moment.
The only car DAB+ unit I have heard of rebroadcasts the DAB+ signal as standard FM radio to your car radio - which kind of defeats the object of the digital radio doesn't it? Anyway, I think it's made by PURE if you are interested.
