Contemplating buying Tig accessories in the USA

Hi all,

I will be travelling to the USA next month and was considering whether it would be cheaper to buy some rear window shades for my new MY11 147TSI tig than it would be in AUS.

Does anyone have any advice? Will the shades fit ok? is it any cheaper... and who can I buy from over there?

Should be cheaper as they have a much larger consumer market.
Not sure where you would get them from though.

AFAIK, US spec Tig have the same dimension. So should fit!

It's anything out of China that you have to watch out for, as Tigs made for China have a longer wheel base (therefore longer rear passenger doors) than rest of the world.

I would imagine rocking up to any dealership to purchase the shades.

But they're a relatively inexpensive item in the first place!

If it was me ... I would be maxing out my baggage limit on either more expensive VW or after-market performance parts.
