I've had my sunroof drains "cleaned" at VW service for it to still be leaking water into my trunk. I went under the car and pulled the flap/valve and it was completely clogged full of dirt. The way VW designed our drains is that there is no seal around the drain connections, and if it does fill with water, it will leak into the interior of your car. Also it drains water even when the sunroof is closed, German engineering haha.

Usually you can tell your drain(s) are clogged when your windows are foggy after its been raining.

I saw your post about the hood latch, and noticed you pulled apart the front of the car. It could be possible you didn't re-attach it properly and it came undone? Can't find much online about how you can manually release it for a tiguan, might need something long to shove in there to pop the latch. Good luck with that!
Man I did some testing last night and was getting some WILD boost readings, like 28 - 29psi. I'm playing around with the atmospheric pressure leveler but can't get the boost readings down yet. I'll get a proper gauge when I complete all the other upgrades.

Wow that is a seriously bad design flaw, I'm getting under the car this weekend so I'll make sure to have a look.

Interestingly the hood latch was working when I took it in for my 120k service last week, then brought the car home and it went bung. I took back to the dealer and they will sort it out free of charge, they will have to pretty much disassemble the car piece by piece until they can get to the cable, what a pain. I obviously didn't mention I'd been messing around with the IC!

Talk about pulling a rabbit out of a hat, lucky they were able to see me this week as I have a mate coming over on Saturday to help me bolt up the high flow pipes and new intake...

Thanks mate, just itching to get these parts installed, they are of no use to me sitting in a box! Will post updates + photos over the weekend.

My OBD2 bluetooth adapter arrived today so I put my old phone to good use:

My biggest gripe with the torque pro app is the PSI reading, no matter how I calibrate the app it always shows 20-21 psi (sometimes 25) which is not right for a stage 1 Tig. Unfortunately the cheap phone mount I bought off Ebay broke after 10 minutes of driving...

Got yourself a vcds cable? You can do some cool things with it.

I activated auto window close feature when it starts raining, adjust how many times my indicator flashes when I slightly press the indicator stalk, adjust how long lights remain on when you unlock/lock the car.

    Tiguan VCDS Coding Options

I turned off the ****ing seat belt warning sound, was getting really annoying really quickly.
I believe we don't have memory seats which don't allow for the mirrors to move down when in reverse, but ironically they're powered electronic units. I looked online about it, and you'd need to replace electronics in your door for it to work... or (a nifty feature of Polar FIS+) you can just enable it through there, and it'll move the mirrors as if you're moving them via the mirror knob.

Also another mod I want to do soon is to replace the **** RCD310 (headunit) with either an RCD510, RNS510 or a RCD330+ because I can't change tracks or view tracks when in bluetooth with my phone.

What sorcery is this??? I had no idea the car could be tweaked like this, that is amazing. I'd be scared of breaking something though.

Great shout re: head unit, changing tracks with the steering wheel is very high up on my wish list but I read it can be tricky doing it via spotify on an android phone. Gee RNS510's are not cheap huh....

Most of the changes I listed are safe to do. However I have yet to mess with a Polar FIS.

Rns is more expensive because it's a nav unit. I don't really care much about that as I just use my phone anyway.

End up fixing your hood latch?
