Bumper Integrated Reverse - Pickup signal/line for rear camera dropdown?

Hi,

I've been reviewing commentary and videos for picking up the 12v signal when reverse lights operate but to date it's all been based on the reverse lights being part of the main cluster. Does anyone know where i can get the same for the bumper integrated reverse lights without removing bumper?

Why do I need this? I have a replacement head unit that has video in and an adapter but need that signal line.

I've also been looking to see if there are any generic canbus adapters (not sure if thats the right term) that could be programmed to detect, am i way of track there?

If you remove/lift up some of the trim panels in your boot or around your spare tyre area, you will see a wiring loom that (from memory its on the passenger side but dont quote me on that) that feeds through a grommet under/near one of the tailights and this is the loom that runs to the sensors in the rear bumper.

Anyway, have a poke around in the boot compartment and you should find the loom.

Cheers, might give me an opportunity to spot the colored wire earlier. Dont really want anything external, and as it's low down not sure if i'll follow a low or high path to the front of the car, was erring towards high but if it's in boot might change things.
