Transporter, any difference in braking performance (good or bad)? I'm sick of having dirty rims so I'm super keen to get some dustless pads!!!!

Australian made DBA Slotted rotors are currently on special to suit Tiguan, $132 each for the front, and $104.28 each for the rear. Also currently eligible for out half price pads deal, see here:

I'd recommend Remsa, rated to 650 degrees, and what we typically supply to high end Euro sports cars. $115 for the front (including sensor) and $89 for the rear. That's normal pricing, so halve that if purchased with the above mentioned rotors.

All up you could get from and rear slotted rotors, and front and rear European made performance pads for $574.56. All in stock, pickup from the Acacia Ridge store, or else can courier to you for $12.

Any questions feel free to give us a bell, 1300 884 836.

Sick of paying too much for performance brake pads? Want high performance with low rotor wear?

While we're on the subject, what would people deem to be the NORMAL life expectancy of pads & rotors, front & rear?
Driving a manual, not too heavy on the the brakes & utilizing down-shifting regularly vs driving an auto & heavier on the brakes??

Probably around 50k-70k km. My wife used 2mm of front brake pads in first 12k km. The Ceramics should last over 100k km and brake discs over 200k km

My Golf's were recently replaced at 60,000km yet the Forester that I had before the present one lasted till 225,000km and that included about 40,000km towing. Both cars covered the same sort of driving with both my wife and I about equal sharing. I liked the feel of the Golf's sharper brakes more.

My Civic is almost onto the 3rd set of rears, first set lasted 60000klms, and the front still has 50% left at least on the original pads. The car has 116,000klms on it, manual and i am also not hard on the brakes

You're a bit far from me, but any independent VW specialist in QLD should be able to help you when you say you'd like ATE Ceramic brake pads. Try Jmac in the forum View Profile: Jmac - VWWatercooled Australia
