    Bluetooth - Voice Control

Does the Tiguan factory fitted bluetooth allow you to use the voice control features of your phone?

I have a blackberry and have recently been driving a Ford Falcon hire car with bluetooth. Holding the steering wheel phone button in the Ford activates the blackberry voice dail function allowing you to select a number by voice dialling.

Hope this feature is included in the Tig I have on order.

Not on the 2011 model as far as I'm aware. I have the RNS510 and bluetooth. Saying that I use an iPhone.

No. The basic bluetooth does not support voice control and the manual is generic and poorly worded. The 'premium' bluetooth kit does but has phone compatibility issues with certain handsets and to my (limited) knowledge wasn't widely installed or available. You could ask your dealer but holding the phone button on the 2011 tig does nothing except mute the radio.
