Beige (tan cream) leather - Stains/scuffs hard to remove?

Have to decide ... Beige or black leather

Everyone says go for the black leather.
    re: Beige leather -
"Blue jeans stains the leather, very hard to remove"
    "Scuffs too easy"
"Have to regularly apply leather protection"

Even the VW sales guy said go for the black, for same reasons above...
But my wife wants the beige for our new White Tig. (looks nicer, cooler in hot summer sun)

Any VW/Tiguan owners can advise on their experiences?

IMO, black looks always classier and will look in better condition when the car gets older. Just make sure you get a good leather care product.

    Hi mate,

I agree with your wife...the Beige looks much nicer...in the showroom. I think it makes the car look more expensive.
BUT the question is, are you a car fanatic, who enjoys cleaning it very well each week, or are you a "run it through the car wash guy"?

You cant afford to be a 'regular' car user if you get leather, let alone beige leather...it needs good care...

ALSO, have you got kids? there is a cllue in that. Even the best kids in the world dont care for leather in the same way as an adult might.

That just my opinions anyway...I am a very fussy owner, but we chose the black leather instead of the beige.....

protect the leather with sealant and make sure you clean/condition it every 3 months and it'll be fine.
    What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

I do also have a beige interior. I really love it BUT if i would change the Tiguan for an upgrade I would go for the black!!!
Beige need more care and cleaning and it change color after time even with multiple leather protector ...
But again I realy love beige interior

If I had to do it again I would opt for black over tan.

    Hey CanAm,
Did you change this yourself, or was this colour an option for the South African market?

I've seen that colour option in US deliveredTigs.

Does anyone know if you can get the cream interior with black leather? I like the lighter coloured dash and trim, but don't really want the beige leather.
