    Automatic dimming interior rearview mirror

    Hi,

A quick question for for people with automatic dimming interior rearview mirror, does it always work for you?

For the first 3 months of ownership, I recall headlights in the rearview mirror always look pleasingly soft blue at night. But recently I have noticed the auto dimming feature only seem to work 25% of the time.

Before I take the car in for a warranty repair, I am wondering if anyone has come across such issue.

    Thanks
    Will

It always works for me so far of owning it for 1month. I noticed that only 1 LED is turned on, I never seen the right led ON

Mine also works great, though I must admit to discovering it after about a year of ownership!...

One is an led, the other a light sensor.

I noticed the other day that someone's lights were a lot brighter in my rear vision mirror than I was used to, but I thought maybe they were on high beam and/or had really bad level adjustment. Will keep an eye on it now that you mention it.

It depends on the amount of light around your car, if there is too much ambient light, or light from on coming cars, it can interfere.

For those of you that may find your mirror not working try turning the system on and off a few times to reset it. There is a on/ off button on the bottom underside of the mirror body that you can toggle
