    Anyone try this? (Performance mod)

    Welcome to DMH Performance!

How do you think this will work with our Tiguan? Put one of this just after the downpipe end, bypassing resonator and muffler? Will this work with aftermarket ECU tune?

Price is very reasonable as well.

So it's basically a switchable screamer pipe?
If it's done after the cat it should work okay but then you might as well just do a muffler delete as it would cost less and give you more noise when you need it.
Next to no power gain after the downpipe.

The Tiguan's rear muffler is actually really restrictive. Guy (APR) and I did dyno testing when prototyping the downpipe for the Tiguans and there is +-6 wkw to be relased/gained by changing/deleting the rear muffler ..... a number of runs on the dyno were done both with and without the rear muffler ....

Hmm this got me thinking, what about installing a test pipe in lieu of the DP then putting one of this e-switch straight after. Legality issue aside, this should free up few extra Kilowatt and noise .
