Maybe crack open the airbox to see if there is anything caught in there.
Other than that I don't know what else you could try, i haven't heard of this one before.
I've a 6 month old Tiguan which has done around 6500km's.
It has recently (last month or so) developed an annoying shudder (similar to when you have a window slighly open) when being driven at speeds over 90km's. This shudder is slightly audiable when being recorded with my iphone. I don't have roof racks or anything else which could interfere with the aerodynamics. Air pressure of tyres is as recommended.
Any ideas or people out there with a similar issue. I'm about to take it for servicing however would rather have a better ideal of what's wrong initially, if only to provie a bit more information through fault testing of my own.
cheers in advance.

I'd say have a look at the wheel alignment and/or wheel balancing. Both of which can cause a very noticable shudder if incorrect and driven at highway speeds.
