This is my set up. The gas and brake pedals are OEM spec on my 2011 R Line. The dead pedal was from eBay and I modified it to include the rubber inserts because it just comes as a CNC milled plate.

Here is one example of where you can purchase a similar one from.......

Nah they're not. No OEM for RHD.

Mine were bought off a UK seller on eBay and without the rubber insert (if you look carefully).

I would go for the eBay seller that Naresh has provided a link to. Definitely look the part.

They do sell normal ones without any GTI or R logo, but with the rubber:

But for a true OEM look, see if they can sell you one without the holes/pre-drill.

I fastened mine just with strong glue.

saw your DIY thread before but the tiguan has a square finish for the footrest. the one you linked and installed has a arc shaped finished. although it looks decent enough maybe i'm just picky.

Hey Ramee, mind telling us where you got your pedals from? Are these the same Tuning Fanatics ones? Do you remember if they came with OEM packaging/part#'s?

And what was involved in doing the throttle body calibration?

Yes! They are Tuning Fanatics ones. Even though they work and I am satisfied with the pedals they are not upto the original OEM quality standards.

    Bottom side of TF pedals

After I installed the TF pedal car starts to idling high aroung 1200 rpm like you pressed the acc pedal a bit. So I had to follow TB calibration procedure in VCDS so that car ECU can relearn the the new idling positions. May be tuning fanatics pedal has its sensor values bit off from the OEM ones. Anyway TB calibration by VCDS software has solve the issue and car now works fine.

Thanks Ramee for your feedback and also for the part#

I'll check out what my local VW parts guy can do and the parts he has available (and if it's the same).

Good to hear that this can be adjusted if required.
