Air Con Problems TIGUAN 118TSI

I had an incident the other day where my aircon locked all controls and it blasted very hot air, had no direction settings or fan speed, stopped the engine after a lot of fiddling and when I restarted it was locked again on the new setting(not so hot) A little further along I stopped the engine again and I got control back when I started up. I could switch the actaul air con on and off, but of course I then had outside air coming in on HOT. It has worked OK since........anyone have any ideas??

Best idea is to scan it with VCDS, if there was a fault it'll be logged and you can work things out from there.

G'day. My 103TDI air con started intermittently blowing warm air on cold last week. Got it in to local dealer Monday arvo and MAY be able to get it back Wednesday arvo. Apparently a fault in the wiring from the BCM and they have the dash out tracing it so I'm told. I advise getting it back to a dealer for investigation before summer hits..Cheers
