    90k service schedule for tiguan

    Hey guys

the carservice website doesnt seem to be working for me, says i've been there too much.

Does anyone know what the extra services are required for a 90k service?

    Thanks in advance.

90K on a Tiguan is oil, oil filter, sump plug, air filter, and pollen filter.

Can someone tell me why according to post #7 of the link below, the 60k service for the TDI is so much cheaper than the TSI? What do they have to do to the TSI 60k that they don't do to the TDI?

Spark plugs. They're about $30ea, so $120, plus 0.4hrsat whatever the labour rate (plus GST) to fit them.

Still, the chart isn't that accurate, as the service schedule has changed since that was posted up, therefore the prices will be skewed.

Thanks, but that's still only about $200 of the total $400 difference.

Been quoted $900 for the 60k service. Seems high from what I've been reading on other posts, but it is cheaper than what's posted in that schedule, although I note you've said the schedule is now out of date, so are they doing less now at the 60k service than what was scheduled in that post?

    Depends on the year model.

Auto transmission (Non DSG) now gets serviced at 60,000, as opposed to never.

If it's a pre-2010 4Mo, it includes a Haldex service (just an oil change at the coupling). Otherwise, it's every 4 years.

Its all changed again about 5 months ago... Autos (non dsg) have gone back to NO service change time..there was no change then there was now back to no change time for all standard autos. and heldex is now 60k pre 2010 and 3 years after 2010... They keep changing it ...VDUB... hard to keep up with the changes
